We aim to stock as many of these as possible. Stock is rotated, mainly because we don't have enough shelf space for everything! Rest assured with over 230 different ales and lagers there should be enough here to choose from.
Burgess Hill's own brewery 'The Kiln' has had a makeover. All their beers are now canned and we usually have five or six different brews, from a steam lager to a dry stout. They describe themselves on twitter as a "Nano-Brewery creating the beers we like to drink. Simple, Uncomplicated and Very Drinkable with a clean refreshing taste bursting with flavour"
Long Man Brewery from Alfriston produces some exceptional ales. Four are bottled - Long Blonde, American Pale Ale, Best Bitter and the seasonal Old.
Sheffield Park Brewery produce a range of beers that are based on classic styles, mix-ing traditional and contemporary hops and malts; each recipe is unique yet reassuringly familiar. There is also the craft range of beers which have been inspired by the more modern recipes and ingredients from all over the world. Available in 330 ml cans.
The famous Lewes based brewery has also had a rebrand. We stock a selection of beers, rotating according to season from the original best bitter (Blue Label) to Porter and Christmas Ale. Harvey's also produce some beers in 33cl cans. We stock Wharf IPA, Best Bitter, Gold Bier and Tin Lizzie (a limited edition 7.5% Elizabethan in a can).
Dark Star started at the Evening Star pub in Brighton, moved to Ansty and then to Partridge Green. Their beers are well known across the country. We usually have their Sunburst, Hophead and Espresso in bottles and a selection of canned ales according to availability. Sometimes the interesting Creme Brulee can be found.
Sixty years after first winning a silver medal for malted barley at the BrewersÂ’ Exhibition at Olympia, London, Goodwood Home Farm continues to produce award winning organic ale and lager. In conjunction with Horsham's traditional brewery, Hepworth & Co, Goodwood Organic Ale and Lager is made using their own organically grown malted barley and organic hops, to give a well-rounded and distinctive tasting Ale.
Hepworths are from Horsham and brew a wide range of ales and lagers. Most of them are naturally Gluten Free. We stock their more popular brews.
When we can get a bottled beer from Burning Sky (Firle) we will... "The crux of the brewery is to brew the beers that excite us, without compromise in terms of ingredient costs and time, that all too often overlooked ingredient in beer. Whether it's a fresh hoppy pale, or a oak aged beer, they are all considered and cared for beers that we want to drink." (lifted from their web site!)
Each beer in the Faversham Steam Brewery's Whitstable Bay Collection (Kent) has been designed to offer a clear, fresh taste that is distinct and refreshing for the discerning consumer. We usually have their organic ale. Check price guide for more information as to current stock.
We are happy to stock Hurst Brewery's ales. The Founder's Best Bitter is a rich, dark amber hue, with a rounded malty palate. It is suffused with subtle caramel and orange flavours. As soon as more brews are bottled we hope to stock them too.
Gun Brewery is in the Weald of East Sussex, south of Heathfield. It uses its own spring water, solar power and woodburners on its organic farm. Beers are vegetarian and most are vegan too. We stock a range, mostly in cans. To find out more and to discover the origins of the logo go to their website.
High Weald at East Grinstead has four core beers; Chronicle - a Sussex Bitter; Greenstede - a Golden Ale; Charcoal Burner - an English Oatmeal Stout; and new to the range is First Gold IPA.
Arundel Brewery is at Ford, just outside Arundel. We stock the Sussex Gold, Castle and Sussex Dark. Arundel are producing a number of excellent brews in 33cl cans.
Riverside at Upper Beeding is relatively new to the Sussex Beer scene. They brew a selection of beers all named after local places or events. Their beers sell quickly here.
Lazy Lizard were new to Ninkasi last December. The company was set up in November 2015 by Lynn and David Flower from Brighton, East Sussex. Currently we have three of their beers in cans.
Lost + Found Brewery from Brighton are also new to us. Part of their philosophy is thus - "To make beers that challenge and excite, hands-in-the-air-beer designed to delight. To keep experimenting and searching and never stand still. To always use the freshest, finest and most ethical ingredients we can obtain, in line with what mother nature demands. To share the love of this craft with as many people as we can. And of course, to have as much fun as possible along the way. This is why we brew after all!"

London Breweries

Ninkasi is proud to stock a range of beers from London Breweries, all with their own unique style - from The Kernel's Table Beer to Beavertown's Holy Cowbell stout. Some have normal web sites and some are truly bonkers. But there is a fantastic range to suit all tastes.
Fuller's flagship beer, London Pride, is the traditional taste of London. The range will expand and there will be a London ale on tap for take-away from time to time. Watch the web and facebook for up-to-date information on what's in store. Alternatively sign up for our newsletter for the latest news.
And look out for tasting events.
